HUNTING & SPORTING CLUB COUNSEL
Hunting and fishing have long been cherished traditions in the Delta, with the region’s rich abundance of wildlife and natural resources celebrated since the earliest explorers recorded their experiences. Each year, families across the lowlands of Arkansas return to the fields, forests, and waters that have shaped their way of life for generations.
At our firm, we take pride in helping individuals and sporting clubs protect their assets, limit liability exposure, and plan for long-term stewardship. In some cases, a simple liability waiver or lease agreement may be all that is required. In others, complex planning and transactional experience are essential.
Our work has included advising clients on a wide range of projects, such as:
- Advising ownership structure and implementation for Mississippi River island club with tens of millions of
dollars in investment; - Transactional representation for multi-million dollar property expansion for world-renowned duck hunting
club in the Cache River basin; - Restructuring equity interests within established hunting clubs;
- Forming companies and drafting contracts for outfitters;
- Representing clients in hunting club-related litigation; and
- Establishing trusts for equity shares and memberships in premier hunting clubs across Eastern Arkansas.
Tyler Griffin is not only an experienced attorney, but also an avid hunter and fisherman who understands the language of the outdoors from personal experience. When it comes to hunting, fishing, or conservation legal matters, don’t call a law firm in a tall building — call an outdoorsman.
GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY
Community involvement is essential to the health and prosperity of any town or region. At our firm, we view this commitment not only as a priority, but as a resolute calling.
Professionally, this dedication is reflected through the provision of pro bono estate planning services for qualified individuals and service as Attorney Ad Litem for minor children involved in dependency-neglect cases. Tyler Griffin has been a certified Attorney Ad Litem in both dependency-neglect and domestic relations/probate matters since 2018. Advocating for children — the most vulnerable members of our community — as they navigate a court system they did not ask to be involved in is a responsibility we embrace with conviction.
Personally, our commitment to community takes many forms, includin board service with organizations ranging from domestic violence shelters to economic development groups, volunteering at community events, and sponsoring local youth sports teams.
Our team remains deeply invested in the future of Wynne and Eastern Arkansas, and we are proud to serve the people and organizations that make this region thrive.
